Hannah Renton is a UK filmmaker working in both fiction and documentary forms, and an interest in the intersection of the two. Her debut short as writer/director KIM has screened at both BAFTA- and Academy Award-qualifying festivals, including Underwire Festival in London and Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan. She is participating as a Director in the BFI NETWORK X BAFTA Crew talent development scheme.
Currently Content Producer at the Institute of Art and Ideas, Hannah has worked in film and television for broadcasters including Channel 4 and Al Jazeera. She has a degree in Philosophy and Psychology, and studied filmmaking in Denmark.
